Harv and Brenda Thiessen serve with Operation Mobilization in Ontario.  As members of the Winkler EMMC, they were commissioned as a family in 1991 and have served throughout East Asia, Africa and India.  They have four adult children and 6 grandchildren. Operation is an international mission agency that focuses on the least reached areas of the world with the gospel.

Harvey currently oversees the Directors in 6 OM fields:  Canada, USA, Caribbean, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and Australia.  He works closely with the boards and the field leaders to help them plan and remain on mission to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers among  the least reached. He also chairs 3 additional boards:  MoveIN (movein.global), The Canadian Centre for World Mission and Pamir Ministries (media work for Afghanistan).
